The Center conducts academic and applied research in the field of development. At the heart of the Centre is the Research Unit which is responsible for:

• Defining and conducting Research on a range of topics related to development in Palestine (e.g. gender, youth empowerment, labour participation, state building, sustainable development, etc…)
• Collecting and disseminating information to a large number of policy-making institutions and other relevant agencies.
• Producing the Palestinian Human Development Report
• Using sophisticated and innovative approaches to its qualitative and quantitative research..
