Commerce Building
The Building of Faculty of Commerce was built in the new campus for Birzeit University and was opened on October 29, 1993. The buildings expenses came from a very generous donation from Al-Shaikh Abdul-Rahman Jeraissi.
The building consists of four floors with a total area of 4590 square meters.
First Floor:
With an area of 1285 square meters the first floor contains one of the main entrances of the faculty building (the southern entrance), it has a large auditorium, two teaching halls, teaching class, and a cafeteria for the students.
Second Floor:
The second floor has an area of 1085 square meters. It has five teaching classes, and some of the faculty members offices.
Third Floor:
The third floor also contains the other of two main entrances to the building (the northern entrance). Its area is 1110 square meters. It has five teaching classes, a teaching hall, and faculty members offices.
Fourth Floor:
The fourth floor, which is the top floor, has an area of 1110 square meters. It has a meeting room, which is very often used, it has a number of teaching classes, a lounge for faculty members, the Dean's Office, and other faculty and administrators offices.
