Short Bio
Bassem Sayrafi is an assistant professor at Birzeit University in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. He received his PhD from Indiana University in 2005. Bassem's research interests include query optimization, dependency theory in relational databases, and the foundational aspects of data mining. The thesis of his dissertation focuses on developing a measure-theoretic framework for constraints and bounds on measurements of data.
