Electrical Engineering is one of the broadest and largest branches of the engineering profession. It cover new rapidly growing areas such as: communications and computers as well as the traditional areas such as digital and analog circuits, controls, power, electromagnetic and instrumentation.

The Electrical Engineering program at Birzeit University places a very strong emphasis on design, applications, and hands on laboratory experimentation.

The Electrical Engineering Program at Birzeit University prepares its graduates for successful immediate entry into industry, as well as for graduate schools.

The Electrical Engineering Department provide two main programs:

  • Electrical Engineering:

  • Computer System Engineering

The Electrical Engineering curriculum at Birzeit University has three concentration branches:

  1. Communication.
  2. Computer.
  3. Control and power.

* If you stay on track in the curriculum, you will graduate in 5 years.
