In addition to its academic program, the IALIIS has organized several conferences each year, which have included local and international academic conferences.
With the participation of top specialists, the institute has organized several international conferences, open to the general public as well as the university community, on vast areas such as North-South relations in Palestine locally, and in the Arab world and the Mediterranean regionally, moving on to the international arena. Other conferences have focused on political transitions as well as new cultural and social models in Europe and the Arab world. These have attracted a large and varied audience from the community at large.
A number of local conferences have likewise taken place in the Institute, involving all Palestinian universities and scholars from across the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
