Strategic Papers Series
Home
The Institute publishes a series of Strategic Papers related to local, Arab, international as well as foreign policy issues. These papers seek to inform policy makers in Palestinian institutions about the opinion of academics and experts. They also permit the latter to interact with and influence Palestinian policy makers. They were proposed by prominent scholars, politicians and decision-makers and discussed timely topics adopted using a policy-oriented approach in the aim of influencing the quality of deliberations that go into Palestinian policymaking. They weigh upon international options at the regional and global level.
Strategic Paper's Specifications:
The strategic paper will be researched and written by an academic specialist. This paper will be based on the following pattern:
1. It should be between 30-35 pages.
2. It should be academically coherent.
3. The Institute will show the paper to selected appraisers.
4. The Institute will agree with two reviewers to comment on the paper.
5. Thereafter, the paper is presented to an invited forum of academics and decision-makers, who are given the opportunity to discuss it in details and offer feedback (in case of local researcher).
6. The paper is then published in Arabic, along with the feedback and comments. It will also be published in English when permissible.
