Summary of Fees (in US$)

Application and housing allocation fees should be transferred to the university’s bank account. For the bank information, please contact the PAS office at pas-isp@birzeit.edu.

1. Application fee - $50

2. Registration fee - $25

3. Tuition - $650 for each Arabic language course; $550 for all other courses. Tuition fees must be paid on registration day. Birzeit University does not accept postal orders or money orders. Students should bring with them the full amount of tuition and related fees either in cash or by credit card, in order to be able to pay and register on registration day. Fees are not refundable if a student completely withdraws from the program or for courses dropped after the first week of classes. In case of complete withdrawal from the program within the first week of classes students receive a 35% refund of the tuition fees. Courses may be interchanged during the first week of classes. Drop and withdraw after the first week of classes incurs a 100% loss of tuition and fees.

4 . Housing allocation fee - $50
PAS will assist students in finding accommodation, in accordance with the type of housing indicated on the application form. PAS will also direct students to their accommodation on the first day of orientation. Students will be responsible for all rent and associated payments to their landlords.

Students should budget as follows:
$150 per month for a shared room
$200-250 per month for a single room
$300-350 per month for food and transport
$200-300 each semester for miscellaneous (entertainment, trips etc)

5. Library deposit- $25
A library deposit is payable at registration and is refundable at the end of the semester.

6. Student Identification Card- $7

7.Late-application fee - $25, if application reaches PAS after the application deadline.
