It requires domain expertise, mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, algorithm development, software implementation, program execution, analysis, validation and visualization of results.

| Admission Requirement | |
|
Students should hold a bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering From a credited University and posses a grade of at least "GOOD". In addition, the student should have good background in computers and their uses, should be familiar with mathematical techniques of differential equations. Finally, a minimum of two letters of recommendation should be included that speak to the applicants preparedness for graduate study.

Whenever possible, the program offers on a competitive basis a number of Teaching Assistant ships (TA) for full-time qualified candidates. The assistantship offers a monthly salary and a full or partial tuition waiver.
