About Faculty of Science

The activity of the Faculty of Science is twofold: One is to offer service courses required by other faculties of the university, and second to offer programs of its own leading to a B.Sc.. The Faculty of Science at Birzeit University offers a four-year program leading to a Bachelor's Degree in Science in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and a new program leading to a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics to Economics. The faculty also offers minors in Physics, Chemistry Biochemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics. The four-year program  is comprehensive and compact, its effectiveness was proven through the outstanding record of the graduates in their respective professional fields as well as in the graduate school of highly recognized universities.
